FGM Conference - Educate to Eradicate FGM will take place on Friday 6th March 2015 at College Court, Knighton Road, Leicester, LE2 3UF ***
International Women’s Day (IWD) will take place on 8th March 2015 at Highfields Centre, 96 Melbourne Road, Leicester LE2 0DS ***
On 24th and 25th February, 2015, at 7.30pm, V Day Leicester will present a two-night only benefit reading of Eve Ensler’s award winning play The Vagina Monologues at The Firebug Bar on Millstone Lane, Leicester, LE1 5JN***
The talk “inspirational actions to move forward in order to help Somali women/girls gain their independence” will take place on Tuesday 17 February 2015 at 7 p.m, at Stoneycroft Hotel, 5-7 Elmfield Avenue, Leicester, LE2 1RB***

BIRDS DO VDAY AT THE BIRDCAGE – from 6.30pm 8 MARCH 2012 Simply the best girl’s night out in Manchester this year!

A group of fabulous women are getting on stage to perform Eve Enslers. The Vagina Monologues to raise funds for local women.

To celebrate International Women’s Day on the evening of Thursday, 8 March www.birdhousefund.org <http://www.birdhousefund.org/> a local charity run by women for women will lead a VDay event by staging a performance of The Vagina Monologues with a cast of real, local women at Manchester’s glam and fab BIRDCAGE nightclub. The evening will include a VIP cocktail reception, specially created Birdhouse cocktails, a shopping avenue, dancing, prizes, a celebrity host and a whole lotta tears and laughter!

Make no mistake this event is going to be a sell out and will be the biggest, cause driven fund raiser taking place in Manchester to celebrate International Women’s Day and you and your girlfriends are invited!
